My Top 5 Up-and-coming neighbourhoods in South East Queensland

As South East Queensland continues to grow rapidly, there are a number of neighbourhoods that are emerging as the next hotspots for investors and home buyers alike. Here are my top five up and coming neighbourhoods in South East Queensland:

1. Pimpama

Located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Pimpama is one of the fastest growing suburbs in Australia. With a population growth rate of over 20% per year, Pimpama is attracting young families with its modern housing estates, local amenities and affordable living options. The area is also home to a number of excellent schools, making it an attractive place for families to settle down.

2. Springfield Lakes

Situated in the western corridor of Brisbane, Springfield Lakes is a master-planned community that has been designed for modern living. With a range of housing options, excellent shopping and dining options, as well as easy access to major highways and public transport, Springfield Lakes is quickly becoming a popular choice for families looking for a fresh start.

3. Redbank Plains

Located just 30 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD, Redbank Plains is a great option for those who want to live near the city without the high price tag. With plenty of new housing developments and affordable living options, Redbank Plains is attracting young families and couples who want to be close to the action but still enjoy a relaxed lifestyle.

4. Coomera

Coomera is another up and coming suburb that is located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With its close proximity to the M1 and the Coomera train station, it’s an ideal location for commuters. The area has a range of new housing developments, as well as local amenities such as schools, shops and restaurants.

5. Mango Hill

Located in the Moreton Bay Region, Mango Hill is a growing community that is popular with families due to its close proximity to schools, parks and shopping centres. The suburb has a range of new housing developments, including some that overlook the beautiful North Pine River.

The above mentioned suburbs are among the top emerging neighbourhoods in South East Queensland and are my top 5 picks for best places to buy right now in South East Queensland, however there are plenty more places that I’m watching. Each of these suburbs has its own unique features and advantages, from affordable living options to new house and land packages to easy access to major highways and public transport. With so many great options to choose from, it’s no wonder that South East Queensland is becoming one of the most sought-after regions in Australia.
